Synoptic parallels found out of sequence between pericopes.
In many of the synopses
coded for my synoptic project
a brief phrase or passage in a pericope of one of the gospels will
find its parallel, not in the corresponding pericope from another
gospel, but in a different pericope altogether in that gospel. I call
such phrases or passages mixed parallels, and my procedure is
to place the mixed parallel in braces {} to indicate that it is out
of its own sequence.
What follows, then, is a list of completed synopses and their
respective mixed parallels. Each mixed parallel is a link to the
synopsis that contains it in its own sequence as main text.
