19 But when Herod came to his
end behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt,
20 saying: Arise and take the
child and his mother and journey to the land of Israel, for those seeking
the soul of the child have died.
21 And he arose and took the
child and his mother and went into the land of Israel.
22 But, when he heard that
Archelaus was king of Judea instead of his father Herod, he was afraid to
go there. And after being warned in a dream he departed unto the regions
of Galilee,
23 and he came and housed
in a city called
Nazareth, so that the word might
be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophet: He shall be called
a Nazoraean.

39 And, when they finished
all the things according to the law of the Lord, they returned to
Galilee, to their own
city, Nazareth.
40 And the child grew and became strong,
being filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon him.
