26 Ἐὰν οὖν εἴπωσιν ὑμῖν·
Ἰδοὺ, ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ ἐστίν,
μὴ ἐξέλθητε·*
Ἰδοὺ, ἐν τοῖς ταμείοις,
μὴ πιστεύσητε·
27 ὥσπερ γὰρ ἡ ἀστραπὴ
ἐξέρχεται ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν
καὶ φαίνεται ἕως δυσμῶν,
οὕτως ἔσται ἡ παρουσία
τοῦ υἱοῦ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου.
 
 
 
 
 
28 ὅπου ἐὰν ᾖ τὸ πτῶμα, ἐκεῖ
συναχθήσονται οἱ ἀετοί. 
22 Εἶπεν δὲ πρὸς τοὺς μαθητάς·
Ἐλεύσονται ἡμέραι ὅτε
ἐπιθυμήσετε μίαν τῶν ἡμερῶν
τοῦ υἱοῦ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἰδεῖν
καὶ οὐκ ὄψεσθε.
23 καὶ ἐροῦσιν ὑμῖν·
Ἰδοὺ ἐκεῖ, ἤ·
 
Ἰδοὺ ὧδε·
μὴ ἀπέλθητε* μηδὲ διώξητε.
24 ὥσπερ γὰρ ἡ ἀστραπὴ
ἀστράπτουσα ἐκ τῆς ὑπὸ τὸν
οὐρανὸν εἰς τὴν ὑπ᾿ οὐρανὸν
λάμπει, οὕτως ἔσται
ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου
ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ αὐτοῦ.
25 πρῶτον δὲ δεῖ αὐτὸν πολλὰ
παθεῖν καὶ ἀποδοκιμασθῆναι
ἀπὸ τῆς γενεᾶς ταύτης.

26 If therefore they say to you:
Behold, he is in the desert,
do not go* out.
Behold, [he is] in the chambers,
do not believe them.
27 For, just like the lightning
comes out of the east
and appears unto the west,
so will be the advent of
the son of man.
 
 
 
 
28 Where therefore the corpse is,
there the eagles shall be
gathered together. 
22 But he said to his disciples:
Days shall come when you
will desire to see one of
the days of the son of man
and you will not see it.
23 And they will say to you:
Behold there, or:
 
Behold here.
Do not go* away or pursue them.
24 For, just like the lightning
shines when it flashes from one part
of heaven to another part of heaven,
so will be
the son of man in his day.
25 But first he must suffer
many things and be rejected
by this generation.
