⁹ Καὶ μεταβὰς ἐκεῖθεν ἦλθεν εἰς τὴν συναγωγὴν αὐτῶν· ¹⁰ καὶ ἰδοὺ, ἄνθρωπος χεῖρα ἔχων ξηράν. καὶ ἐπηρώτησαν αὐτὸν, λέγοντες· Εἰ ἔξεστιν τοῖς σάββασιν θεραπεῦσαι; ἵνα κατηγορήσωσιν αὐτοῦ. ¹¹ ὁ δὲ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· Τίς ἔσται ἐξ ὑμῶν ἄνθρωπος ὃς ἕξει πρόβατον* ἕν, καὶ ἐὰν ἐμπέσῃ τοῦτο τοῖς σάββασιν* εἰς* βόθυνον, οὐχὶ κρατήσει αὐτὸ καὶ* ἐγερεῖ;* ¹² πόσῳ οὖν διαφέρει ἄνθρωπος προβάτου. ὥστε ἔξεστιν τοῖς σάββασιν καλῶς ποιεῖν. ¹³ τότε λέγει τῷ ἀνθρώπῳ· Ἔκτεινόν σου τὴν χεῖρα. καὶ ἐξέτεινεν, καὶ ἀπεκατεστάθη ὑγιὴς ὡς ἡ ἄλλη. ¹⁴ ἐξελθόντες δὲ οἱ Φαρισαῖοι συμβούλιον ἔλαβον κατ᾿ αὐτοῦ ὅπως αὐτὸν ἀπολέσωσιν.	¹ Καὶ εἰσῆλθεν πάλιν εἰς τὴν συναγωγήν. καὶ ἦν ἐκεῖ ἄνθρωπος ἐξηραμμένην ἔχων τὴν χεῖρα· ² καὶ παρετήρουν αὐτὸν εἰ τοῖς σάββασιν θεραπεύσει αὐτόν, ἵνα κατηγορήσωσιν αὐτοῦ. ³ καὶ λέγει τῷ ἀνθρώπῳ τῷ τὴν ξηρὰν χεῖρα ἔχοντι· Ἔγειρε εἰς τὸ μέσον. ⁴ καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς· Ἔξεστιν τοῖς σάββασιν ἀγαθὸν ποιῆσαι ἢ κακοποιῆσαι, ψυχὴν σῶσαι ἢ ἀποκτεῖναι; οἱ δὲ ἐσιώπων. ⁵ καὶ περιβλεψάμενος αὐτοὺς μετ᾿ ὀργῆς, συλλυπούμενος ἐπὶ τῇ πωρώσει τῆς καρδίας αὐτῶν, λέγει τῷ ἀνθρώπῳ· Ἔκτεινον τὴν χεῖρα. καὶ ἐξέτεινεν, καὶ ἀπεκατεστάθη ἡ χεὶρ αὐτοῦ. ⁶ καὶ ἐξελθόντες οἱ Φαρισαῖοι εὐθὺς μετὰ τῶν Ἡρῳδιανῶν συμβούλιον ἐδίδουν κατ᾿ αὐτοῦ ὅπως αὐτὸν ἀπολέσωσιν.	⁶ Ἐγένετο δὲ ἐν ἑτέρῳ σαββάτῳ εἰσελθεῖν αὐτὸν εἰς τὴν συναγωγὴν καὶ διδάσκειν· καὶ ἦν ἄνθρωπος ἐκεῖ καὶ ἡ χεὶρ αὐτοῦ ἡ δεξιὰ ἦν ξηρά· ⁷ παρετηροῦντο δὲ αὐτὸν οἱ γραμματεῖς καὶ οἱ Φαρισαῖοι εἰ ἐν τῷ σαββάτῳ θεραπεύει, ἵνα εὕρωσιν κατηγορεῖν αὐτοῦ. ⁸ αὐτὸς δὲ ᾔδει τοὺς διαλογισμοὺς αὐτῶν, εἶπεν δὲ τῷ ἀνδρὶ τῷ ξηρὰν ἔχοντι τὴν χεῖρα· Ἔγειρε καὶ στῆθι εἰς τὸ μέσον. καὶ ἀναστὰς ἔστη. {^13.15 Ἀπεκρίθη δὲ αὐτῷ ὁ κύριος καὶ εἶπεν· Ὑποκριταί, ἕκαστος ὑμῶν τῷ σαββάτῳ οὐ λύει τὸν βοῦν* αὐτοῦ ἢ τὸν ὄνον ἀπὸ τῆς φάτνης καὶ* ἀπαγαγὼν ποτίζει;} {^14.5 Καὶ πρὸς αὐτοὺς εἶπεν· Τίνος ὑμῶν υἱὸς ἢ βοῦς εἰς φρέαρ πεσεῖται, καὶ οὐκ εὐθέως ἀνασπάσει αὐτὸν ἐν ἡμέρᾳ τοῦ σαββάτου;*} ⁹ εἶπεν δὲ ὁ Ἰησοῦς πρὸς αὐτούς· Ἐπερωτῶ ὑμᾶς, εἰ ἔξεστιν τῷ σαββάτῳ ἀγαθοποιῆσαι ἢ κακοποιῆσαι, ψυχὴν σῶσαι ἢ ἀπολέσαι; ¹⁰ καὶ περιβλεψάμενος πάντας αὐτοὺς εἶπεν αὐτῷ· Ἔκτεινον τὴν χεῖρά σου. ὁ δὲ ἐποίησεν, καὶ ἀπεκατεστάθη ἡ χεὶρ αὐτοῦ. ¹¹ αὐτοὶ δὲ ἐπλήσθησαν ἀνοίας, καὶ διελάλουν πρὸς ἀλλήλους τί ἂν ποιήσαιεν τῷ Ἰησοῦ.

⁹ And having walked on thence he went into their synagogue. ¹⁰ And behold, a man who had a withered hand. And they asked him, in order to accuse him, saying: Is it permitted to heal on the sabbaths? ¹¹ But he said to them: What man is there from among you who will have one sheep and, if it should fall into a* pit on the sabbaths, you will not grab it and* raise it up?* ¹² How much more, therefore, is a man worth than a sheep? Thus it is permitted to do well on the sabbaths. ¹³ Then he says to the man: Stretch out your hand. And he stretched it out, and it was restored, healthy as the other one. ¹⁴ But the Pharisees went out and began to take counsel against him as to how they might destroy him.	¹ And he went again into the synagogue. And there was a man there who had a withered up hand. ² And they were observing him, in order to accuse him, as to whether he would heal him on the sabbaths. ³ And he says to the man who had the withered hand: Rise in the middle. ⁴ And he says to them: Is it permitted to do good or to do evil on the sabbaths, to save a soul or to kill it? But they were silent. ⁵ And he looked around at them with anger, grieved at the hardness of their hearts, and he says to the man: Stretch out the hand. And he stretched it out, and his hand was restored. ⁶ And the Pharisees went out and straightway with the Herodians began to give counsel against him as to how they might destroy him.	⁶ But it happened on another sabbath that he went into the synagogue and taught. And there was a man there, and his right hand was withered. ⁷ But the scribes and the Pharisees were observing him, in order to find an accusation against him, as to whether he might heal on the sabbath. ⁸ But he himself knew their reasonings, but he said to the man who had the withered hand: Rise and stand in the middle. And, having stood up, he stood there. {^13.15 But the Lord answered him and said: Hypocrites, does not each of you on the sabbath loosen his ox or ass from the stall and* lead him away to drink?} {^14.5 And he said toward them: Among you, whose son or ox will fall into a* well and you will not straightway draw him up* on the day of the sabbath?} ⁹ But Jesus said toward them: I ask you, is it permitted to do good or to do evil on the sabbath, to save a soul or to destroy it? ¹⁰ And he looked around at them all and said to him: Stretch out your hand. But he did so, and his hand was restored. ¹¹ But they themselves were filled with folly, and they spoke toward one another as to what they might do to Jesus.
