Ῥακά,
ἔνοχος
ἔσται
τῷ
συνεδρίῳ·
ὃς
δ᾿
ἂν
εἴπῃ·
Μωρέ,
ἔνοχος
ἔσται
εἰς

γέενναν
τοῦ
πυρός.
23 ἐὰν
οὖν
προσφέρῃς
τὸ
δῶρόν
σου
ἐπὶ

θυσιαστήριον
κἀκεῖ
μνησθῇς
ὅτι

ἀδελφός
σου
ἔχει
τι
κατὰ
σοῦ,
24 ἄφες
ἐκεῖ
τὸ
δῶρόν
σου
ἔμπροσθεν
τοῦ
θυσιαστηρίου
καὶ
ὕπαγε;
πρῶτον
διαλλάγηθι
τῷ
ἀδελφῷ
σου,

τότε

21 You heard that it was said
to the ancients: Do not commit murder, and whoever commits murder will be
guilty at judgment.
22 But
I say to you that everyone who gets angry with his brother will be guilty
at judgment, and whoever should say to his brother: Raka, will be guilty
before the sanhedrin, and whoever should say: Fool, will be guilty for the
gehenna of fire.
23 If
therefore you are offering your gift upon the altar and there remember that
your brother has something against you,
24 leave your gift there before
the altar and get on; first be reconciled to your brother, and then come
and offer your gift.
