21 Not* everyone who says to me: Lord, Lord, will go into the kingdom of the heavens, but rather the one who does the will of my father who is in the heavens. 22 Many will say to me on that day: Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and did we not cast out demons in your name, and did we not do many powers in your name? 23 And then I will confess to them: I never knew you; depart from me, you who work lawlessness. |
46 But why do you call me, Lord, Lord, and do not* do the things I say? {13.25 From the time when the housemaster rises and closes the door, and you begin to stand outside and to knock on the door, saying: Lord, open up to us, he will answer and say to you: I do not recognize you, whence you are. 13.26 Then you will begin to say: We ate and drank before you, and you taught in our plazas. 13.27 And he will say to you: I do not recognize you, whence you are; stand away from me, all workers of injustice.} |
