21 From then on Jesus began to show his disciples that he must go away to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed and be raised on the third day. 22 And Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him, saying: [God be] merciful to you, Lord; it shall not be this way for you. 23 But he turned said to Peter: Get back behind me, Satan; you are a scandal to me, because you are not thinking the things of God but rather the things of men. |
31 And he began to teach them that the son of man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and the chief priests and the scribes, and be killed and resurrect after three days. 32 And he spoke the word frankly. And Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. 33 But he turned around and saw his disciples and rebuked Peter and says: Get back behind me, Satan, because you are not thinking the things of God but rather the things of men. |
