Notes and quotes.
§ I note the following agreement between Matthew and Luke against Mark:
- Matthew 9.35 has τας
πολεις πασας
και τας
κωμας (all the cities and the villages).
Luke 13.22 has κατα
πολεις και
κωμας (by cities and villages).
Mark 6.6 has only τας
κωμας κυκλω
(the villages in a circle). Furthermore, Matthew and Luke each add
another participle with και
(and).
§ This pericope is an example of a synoptic summary statement.
