Jesus said: Know what is in your sight, and that which
is hidden from you will be revealed to you. For there is nothing hidden that
will not be made apparent.

Jesus said: Preach from your housetops that which
you will hear in your ear. For no one lights a lamp and puts it under a peck,
nor does he put it in a hidden place, but rather he sets it on a lampstand
so that everyone who goes in and comes out might look upon its
light.

For the Lord says: You shall be as lambs in the midst
of wolves. But Peter answered and says to him: What therefore if the wolves
should tear the lambs apart? Jesus said to Peter: Let not the lambs fear the
wolves after they are dead; and you, fear not those that kill you and are able
to do nothing to you, but rather fear the one who, after you are dead
has authority of soul and body, to cast them into the gehenna of
fire.

And we have comprehended that it is better to have
faith in even what is impossible to our own nature and to men than to be
faithless like the others, since we know also that our teacher Jesus Christ
said: Things impossible with men are possible with God, and: Fear not those
who destroy you and after these things cannot do any more, but fear him who
after death can cast both soul and body into gehenna. And gehenna is a place
where those who have lived wickedly are about to be punished, and who do not
have faith that as many things as God has taught us through Christ will
happen.

for reminding me of this parallel in a private message.)
